Does Middle Georgia Need Another Church?

We are not starting Piedmont Church because Middle Georgia needs another church.  Macon doesn’t need another place for Christians to go and see their friends, sing a few songs, hear a sermon, make sure their children get a Christian education, and then go home at the end of the day.  There are plenty of places to do that.  

We are starting another church because what Middle Georgia needs is an environment where believers can feel good about bringing their un-churched friends; environments where the un-churched will experience something so different and unique that they want to come back, whether they initially believe the teaching or not.

Middle Georgia needs a new environment for teenagers to bring their unsaved and un-churched friends. A place for kids to have an incredible quality educational experience. Where things are done with excellence, and kids experience a creative God as a result of what we do.

Middle Georgia needs a church that has a passion to invest in the lives of those who are poor, hurt and persecuted around the world.  A church that will make helping these people a vocal priority.
