  • Jerry Dingmore

    Lead pastor

    Jerry and Jana have been married for 20 years. They have three children, Kenzie, Colton and Asher. Jerry is a graduate from Texas A&M University with a BS degree in Agriculture Economics. He then earned his Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX in 1993. He has over 20 years of ministry experience and 17 of those as Senior Pastor.


    It is a dream come true for Jerry to launch a church with a group of like-minded people who long to create irresistible environments that will reach the unchurched and help people world-wide who are hurting, persecuted and afflicted.

  • Eric Pratt

    Creative Arts and Worship Pastor

    Eric Pratt is the Creative Arts and Worship Pastor at Piedmont. He has felt a calling to full-time ministry since his high school years. He has spent over 10 years serving in ministry in many capacities including worship, production, youth, and guest services. He graduated from Georgia College and State University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication. He and his wife Jen have been married for 7 months and live in Milledgeville, GA. 


    His passion is to create worshipful environments through both creative and musical platforms. His heart is to worship Christ through music and encouraging others to engage in worship.

  • Chris barbee

    Associate pastor Over Groups and Students

    Chris Barbee is the Pastor of Students and Groups here at Piedmont Church. He has been married to Amy Barbee since 2008, and they one have child, Micah. Chris grew up in Cobb County and is the son of a Pastor. Chris has been in full-time ministry since 2010 and worked as a volunteer before that. He has a B.S. in Biblical and Theological Studies degree from Liberty University and is currently seeking his Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He loves all sports, but especially enjoys football and playing golf. 


    His goal is to is to seek after Christ with endurance (Hebrews 12:1-2), proclaiming His glorious grace to all (Ephesian 1:6) and raising up others to do the same (Ephesians 4:12).

    Jana is married to Jerry and they have three children, Kenzie, Colton and Asher. Jana graduated from Texas A & M University with a degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She loves the Aggies and watching college football. She was a part of the team that planted Piedmont Church and has been a leader in the All Star ministry since its inception. 


    Jana is passionate about creating environments where children can connect with Jesus in a real way, and equipping parents to play an active role in the growth of their child's faith. She also teaches English and Bible at a local high school.

  • dawn burns

    tree house ministries

    Dawn has been a member of Piedmont Church for over two years. Her life, personally and professionally, has focused around serving and giving back to others. While at Piedmont, Dawn has been heavily involved in the All-Star Kids ministry as a teacher and helping with the praise team. Professionally, Dawn has worked with the Macon Rescue Mission and the Department of Family and Children Services for nearly two decades. For eight years, she served as the Director of the Battered Women’s Shelter. Dawn is married to Robbie Burns and has two children, Hunter Lanier and Hannah Rose Burns.

    Kenny has been married 28 years to his wife Dawn, and has one daughter, Morgan. He attended Macon State and a graduate of Atlanta's Columbia School of Broadcasting , and anchored at 13WMAZ television.


    He loves Piedmont because of the comfortable environment and community found each time we gather for worship.

    James was born in Macon and graduated from Monroe Academy in Forsyth 1990. Graduated from Mercer 1993 with a degree in accounting. He has been a CPA since 1995, and a certified general appraiser since 2000. He married his wife Leigh in 1996 and has three children.  James has been involved in church leadership since I was 25, and have been a part of Piedmont Church since it started, and has been on 3 mission trips to Guatemala. He has a passion for encouraging people to identify and take the next step in their spiritual journey.

    Jay was born and raised all over South Georgia, where his family eventually settled in Americus Georgia. He met his wife, Angie, before moving to Atlanta to attend Georgia Tech. Jay and Angie have two children, Turner and Martha-Kate. He is employed with Graphic Packaging in Macon. 


    There are many reasons he loves Piedmont. The messages are relevant, practical and challenging. He and his family are continually encouraged to develop our personal relationship with Christ and to share it with those we work with and live around. The volunteer opportunities are numerous and rewarding. He always leave Piedmont feeling energized and ready to take on another week. Finally, his kids love going to church on Sunday morning and attending youth events that help them to connect with God at an early age on up through high school.

    Rusty is married to his wife Monica, and they have three children, McKenzie, Morgan and Gray. Rusty graduated with a BBA from the University of Georgia in 1992 and is the Senior Vice President at OneSouth Bank.


    He likes Piedmont because it’s a church that makes people from all backgrounds feel welcome. In addition, I love the way Jerry preaches his messages based on scripture and real world application. He also loves the powerful, moving nature of the music and how it prepares our hearts for a time of worship each Sunday. Finally, his kids love our Youth and All Star Kids programs, their worship time and all the programs have to offer.

    Clay has been married 20 years to his wife Lynn, and has two children, Hollis and JC. After spending 10 years in Washington, DC, h moved back to Macon and started a career in Commercial real estate and development. Currently self employed as a consultant with the City of Macon as the Project Manager for the Second Street Redevelopment and also a co-owner of SportClips.


    He love the family environment that Piedmont fosters and encourages. He loves his "little lambs" in All-Stars and watching them develop and grow into wonderful kids.
