  • Flynn partain

    financial administrator

Flynn and his wife, Gina, and their three children began attending Piedmont shortly after the church launched.  Having spent a career in financial services, he serves as an advisor with AIG Retirement Services.  He and Gina strive to be true followers of Christ.  They readily confess to often falling far short, but it will nonetheless remain their life pursuit.  They also lead what they matter-of-factly refer to as the best community group at Piedmont (wink, smile).

  • jay gillis

    elder

Jay was born and raised all over South Georgia, where his family eventually settled in Americus, Georgia. He met his wife, Angie, before moving to Atlanta to attend Georgia Tech. Jay and Angie have two children, Turner and Martha-Kate. He is employed with Graphic Packaging in Macon.

There are many reasons he loves Piedmont and feels that the messages are relevant, practical, and challenging. He also loves the diverse and rewarding volunteer opportunities Piedmont Church has to offer. He and his family are continually encouraged to develop their relationship with Christ and share it with those we work with and live around. He always leaves Piedmont feeling energized and ready to take on another week. Finally, his kids love going to church on Sunday morning and attending youth events to connect with God at an early age and through high school.

He loves the powerful, moving nature of the music and how it prepares our hearts for a time of worship each Sunday. His kids love the Youth and All-Star Kids programs, their worship time, and all the programs they have to offer.
