  • Chris barbee

    Lead Pastor

    Chris has been married to Amy Barbee since 2008, and they have two children, Micah and Maggie. Chris grew up in Metro-Atlanta and is the son of a pastor. Chris has been in full-time ministry since 2010 and worked as a volunteer before that. He has a B.S. in Biblical and Theological Studies degree from Liberty University and a Masters of Theological Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He loves all sports, movies, and going on dates with his wife! 


    His goal is to seek after Christ with endurance (Hebrews 12:1-2), proclaiming His glorious grace to all (Ephesian 1:6) and raising others to do the same (Ephesians 4:12).

  • Hunter Williams

    Worship & Creative arts Director

    Hunter has been married to Megan Williams since 2019. Hunter received a B.A. in Philosophy from Clayton State University in 2016. Before finding a home at Piedmont Church, Hunter actively served in and lead numerous music ministries in and around Jackson, GA. Apart from leading worship and producing videos, Hunter enjoys spending time with his wife Megan, working on musical equipment, woodworking, and listening to podcasts. 


    His goals are to continually grow closer to the Lord, lead people into God's presence through worship and media, strive to make disciples through his ministry, and to foster and raise up the next generation of leaders.

  • Jeremy Bulles

    Associate Pastor

    Jeremy has been married to Kelby since 2020. He has a B.S. in Student Ministry and a Masters of Divinity in Biblical Studies from Liberty University. Originally from Yorktown, Virginia, Jeremy first moved to Georgia in 2017 to go into full time ministry as a student pastor. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, Winry, watching sports, and rock climbing.


    He has a passion for helping students grow closer in their walk with Christ and partnering with parents to disciple the next generation.


    And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

  • Mateo Burt

    Student PASTOR

    Mateo has been married to Kaleigh since 2021. He has a B.A. in Christian Ministry from North Greenville University. Originally from Hampton, Virginia, Mateo moved to Georgia in 2020 to go into ministry as a student pastor. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their 2 cats, Gibbs and Tyrion, watching movies, and staying active.


    His prayer for the student ministry is that they would know what it means to be a part of a real community with other believers, to have a real relationship with God that consists of daily time spent with Him, and to feel the urgency of the need for Jesus that their friends, neighbors, and family have. In other words: Real Community, Real Devotion, and Real Responsibility.


    For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 1 Corinthians 2:2

  • Kaleigh BURT

    Kids Director

    Kaleigh has been married to Mateo since 2021. She has a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Religious Studies from Georgia Southern University. She grew up in Macon, GA and moved back home to serve the Lord after college graduation. She currently teaches at Heard Elementary and enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and 2 cats. Her favorite activities are going on walks, spending time outside, and reading a good book!


    Kaleigh wants every child to know the love that Jesus has for them and the great gift of salvation He has given them. It is her goal to draw closer to Jesus daily so that she is able to share His love in every aspect of her life, including her ministry.

  • King Kemper

    Elder

    King was born and raised in Macon. He is married to Katie Loving Kemper from Nashville Tenn. and they have three kids Avery, Cook, and Amelia. He serves as a commercial real estate Broker with the Summit Group. King graduated from Auburn University with a BS in Communications and Mercer University with his MBA.


    He loves all aspects of Piedmont! He serves in various ways, but one area you will always see King is talking to people in the lobby and helping to make sure they feel at home!

     


  • Eric Latimer

    ELDER

    Eric spent his early years in the Boston area before moving back down south to Alpharetta, GA. He met his wife, Chelsea, at Berry College and they were married in June of 2014. They have a son, Sam, and a yellow lab, Piper. Eric is the Vice President of Online Advertising Solutions at Renfroe and a varsity soccer coach at First Presbyterian Day School.


    Eric loves being a part of the Piedmont family and doing what he can to help it grow and thrive. He volunteers with the worship team in the sound booth and his wife helps lead the Treehouse ministry.

  • Danny Morton

    ELDER

    Danny grew up in Macon and graduated high school from Tattnall Square Academy and earned his BBA from Mercer University.  He is married to Ginger, and they have 2 children, Alex and Ashleigh.  Danny has worked in government sales at GIGA Inc since 1987.  He and Ginger co-founded Miracle League of Macon in 2003, a baseball league for both boys and girls, ages 5 and up, with disabilities, or as Danny likes to say, “we have players with special abilities”.  Their motto is “Every child deserves a chance to play baseball”.  


    Danny loves sports, especially Atlanta Braves baseball.  He has enjoyed serving in our children’s All-Star program for many years as a small group leader.  His favorite verse is Isaiah 40:31: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
