Our mission is to lead people to Love God, Love People, and Invest In His Kingdom. Our values are what help push us to get to that place. They shape everything about us. We like to think of them as if we were a family at the dinner table in our Home. Five things make our time at the table beneficial.
WE'RE PRESENT
For the dinner table to be what it's intended to be, we need to be present. Every weekend you will benefit from practical messages designed to help you grow in your spiritual journey no matter where you are on it. During these times of corporate worship, together, we give God the worship He is due, and we are inspired to make the changes God is leading us to make.
The early church gathered together… "And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers." "And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,"

WE SERVE
Dinner doesn't happen without someone preparing the meal, setting the table, and cleaning up after the meal. God has given all of us unique gifts and talents. We use our gifts through the church so that we can fulfill God's purpose for our lives. At Piedmont, we provide a variety of opportunities for using our gifts by volunteering and outreach. If God has called you to this church, He hasn't called you to sit inactively; He's called you to be an active part, so jump in!
And Christ gave gifts to people—he made some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to go and tell the Good News, and some to have the work of caring for and teaching God's people. Christ gave those gifts to prepare God's holy people for the work of serving, to make the body of Christ stronger.

WE CONNECT
Ever been to an awkward dinner where no one spoke?... They're not good. God created us for relationships. Many people think becoming a follower of Christ is about getting religion. Nothing could be further from the truth. God desires that we have an authentic relationship with Him. He wants us to have genuine relationships with each other. We encourage you to get involved in a group, meet others in the church gathering, and go beyond just showing up. Be intentional. Show up early and leave late on Sundays. Make this place more than a gathering, make it home.
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

WE GIVE
Gather friends and family, wash your hands, set the table, sit at the table, and notice that no one has provided food. When we give, through God's blessing, we are supporting the church and ensuring that there is always food on the table. When it comes to giving to God through the church, we believe that our primary motivation is the vision. We should give because we have the same vision God has for the world. When we do give to our local church, we have the vision for seeing lives changed. This is what giving to Piedmont does.

WE STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE
Have you ever been to a dinner party, and the host was very lackluster about their process for planning the evening and the food? You quickly notice that even small things like having a few friends over for dinner require planning and execution. This is vital to who we are at Piedmont. We strive for excellence in all that we do. We may not always reach every goal we set, but if we miss our mark we will miss while reaching for excellence!
