MISSION TRIP APPLICATION

scotland Mission trip 2025

In 2021, Paul and Angela began a new initiative to plant Take Hold Church in Scotland. The hope is to be light that encourages and inspires people to know they are loved by God and that He created them to live a life of purpose.

God has built a team of people around them and He is already building His church! In early times, Scotland was boldly starting movements, impacting the world and shaping the future of Christianity. Many even lost their lives defending their faith. There has been a tremendous spiritual decline over the years, and today, it is believed that less than 1% of the population of Scotland are Evangelical Christians. We are praying for a revival in Scotland and that God will use the people of Piedmont Church to help bring it to the area!

Trip Dates: March 29th - April 5th

GUATEMALA MISSION TRIP 2025 (DATE TBD)

Love Guatemala is located about 45 minutes outside Guatemala City in a mountainous village called Magdalena. Love Guatemala began as a vision by a Guatemalan Couple, Carlos and Thelma Lopez, to love their community by giving them the gift that they had: Art. With this vision, they began an art school to show their community the Love of Jesus and offer a way for the youth to earn an income. They started the art school with no resources and just three students.

Through the continued support of churches and supporters, Love Guatemala grew into a ministry with three trade schools, known as Love Guatemala. Love Guatemala started with just three students in 2007 and has grown to over 200. They have added a feeding center, English School, Primary, Middle, and High School and built a facility that gives us the ability to continue to expand and start new educational programs to serve the community holistically.

Katy Lopez now leads love Guatemala as the General Director. She is a native of Magdalena and is supported by her staff of 17 to help give the hope of Jesus through holistic development to the 200-plus students we serve.
