The goal of the Jared Box Project is to lift the spirits of children in the hospital. Boxes filled with the "gift of play" are given to young patients in emergency rooms, hospital rooms, surgical centers, and clinics. As a church we are collecting these boxes through March 14th. Will you help us bring love and joy to kids? How Does The Jared Box Project Work? We have ALL the steps covered below! Step #1 — Get a shoebox-size plastic storage box. Step #2 — Decide if the box you are making is for a boy or a girl and select an age group. Step #3 — Select items for your box, such as crayons, card games, puzzles, or stickers. Place toys in the box. Step #4 — Grab our “Little Note From You” card from the Piedmont lobby or download and print here. Then, write a personal note on the card and place it in the box. Step #5 — Grab a label for the top of the box from the Piedmont lobby and place the Jared Box label on the lid of the box. Step #6 — Grab a box label that goes on the side and check the appropriate box for the age and gender. Step #7 — Decorate your box. You can line the box with colorful tissue paper and use stickers to decorate the outside of the box. Step #8 — Deliver your boxes to Piedmont by March 14th. If you have any more questions feel free to reach out to our staff. Please note that the boxes that are most needed are for children between 0-2 yrs and 11-18 yrs old.
