On Saturday, September 9th, we are having a cooking competition. Contestants will enter their best-smoked pork butt, sides, an. The event will begin at Piedmont at 5 pm, where we will have multiple TVs up for the best college football viewing. All contestants will bring the food to church by 4:45 pm, and the judges will vote on their favorite meat, and the crowd will choose their favorite sides and dessert. More Details: - Cooks are welcome to bring their grill and smoke the pork at the church. We will be open by 8 am. Please notify us in advance if you plan on cooking at the church. - Each cook needs to submit their pork in sandwich form and one other form of their choosing.
