Mission: Love & Invest

What if you could impact a community with the gospel through a local body of believers who are there everyday? What if you could proclaim the gospel, pray, and serve a people in hopes that they would come to know Jesus? What if you could impact the next generation, hear gospel centered preaching and be lead in worship by a band with a heart of Jesus?

Would you do it?

Mission: Love & Invest is a week of camp where you come alongside of our church body to serve in the community of Macon, GA. Interested in learning more?

Here's The Deets:

Who is the Host Church?

Piedmont Church. You can read more about them, their beliefs, and their staff by navigating the tabs above or clicking HERE.

Housing?

We have several different housing options depending on your group's size and needs. Our church can accommodate most groups. We also have connections with local hotels and possible host-home situations.

Meals?

We have a solid cooking team here at the church and many friends in the community. So you can expect a hot breakfast and dinner daily and a bagged lunch for your offsite days.

Worship?

Our team is here to serve you. Our Pastoral staff will bring gospel-centered messages themed around the week's work, and our worship team will choose songs and sets that help you and your church/team engage.

Why Macon & Mission: Love & Invest?

Macon is a city south of Atlanta with a rich southern history and deep pain from racism, poverty, fractured families, crime, and more. We have over 160,000 people in our city, and most conservative reports find that about 100,000 do not profess faith in Christ. "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." Bringing your group to Macon means you can stop worrying about the stress of planning and logistics and focus on leading and loving the people you've been entrusted with.

Who is this for?

All sizes and age groups are welcome. We typically host youth and college groups.

What will we do?

Depending on the week, will depend on the exact projects. For example, some weeks will host and run a VBS, rehabilitate houses of low-income homeowners, throw block parties for neighborhood families, stock food pantries, street evangelism/prayer and more! We will also offer a few options for a recreational breakaway day or night, depending on your stay and scope of work.

What is the cost?

Again, depending on your choice of housing/group size, the typical group staying on campus at Piedmont Church is $200 per person. This cost covers your lodging, food, project supplies, staff, and all other expenses. The two variables in cost are lodging and your recreation breakaway event.

A $50 per person non-fundable deposit will be due by April 16th, and the final cost will need to be paid two weeks before your camp week.
